On Wednesday, April 20th, the GHS Band and Varsity Blue went to Lewiston High School to perform in the District 2 Large Group Festival. They got their results back and the Band received an Excellent rating and Varsity Blue received a Superior rating. Both of these ratings are hard to obtain for any group, and our students worked hard to earn them. Congrats!!!
LATE START! 9:30 am start time for Kooskia and Grangeville Schools. Bus routes will run. Please note that further notifications could come depending on weather. Thanks and stay safe.
The first weekend of Spring Break many of the band and choir students in the music department went on a trip to see the Boise Symphony. They had a great time, got to see some professional musicians, and they also got to go to the zoo while in Boise.
Thank you to the many community members who helped the students with the fundraising for this opportunity, and a BIG thank you to Anderson Aeromotive for the bus and Syringa Hospital for their huge help and aid in this!!!
Parents and guardians, if you have concerns about the content in the books your children check out from the libraries please feel free to contact your librarian and they can put a note on your child’s Valnet account to further filter what they can checkout. We strive to review the books that are in our schools to be age appropriate and you can help to ensure your children only get content that you approve of.
