The 3rd grade classes would like to thank Syringa Hospital and Clinic for hosting us during a learning experience to wrap up our Human Body unit. Special thanks to Jen Lesso for organizing the event for us and a huge shout out to our guides and the staff teaching at each of the stations. Our students were able to tour the radiology department to see xrays and medical machines, visit the clinic with its amazing technology, and explore the inside of an ambulance. Syringa even gave each of the students their very own virus squishies to commemorate the experience.

Mrs. Rambo's third grade class read Balloons Over Broadway. They learned about the Macy’s Day parade and then made some of their own balloons out of tinfoil and laminating sheets. The kids loved it!

The fourth-grade students just celebrated the end of the unit on the Empires in the Middle Ages. We concluded with a castle-building contest. Friends, family, and community members were encouraged to join us for our medieval feast and to view our castles. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
