December lunch menu
The fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students showed gratitude to our office staff by throwing a pep rally. They put together gift packages with yummy treats and items for us to pamper ourselves. Signs and posters adorned the hallway as students cheered. Needless to say, it was an emotional experience that touched our hearts. Thank you for showing your support and appreciation. We are so gracious to have such an amazing staff and incredible students!
The fourth grade students enjoyed a medieval feast to conclude their unit study on the Middle Ages. Each classroom provided food such as rye bread, cheese curds, meat, and pottage. Students visited other classrooms to enjoy the different offerings.
After learning about the Empires in the Middle Ages, the fourth grade students built castles at home to enter into a contest. The competition awarded three students as the top winners. If you would like to display a castle at your local business, please contact Devon Barker at barkerd@sd244.org.
