There will be no JH football practice today due to poor air quality!
The AQI for Kooskia right now is 155. It started at 111 (the first time I checked it) this morning and has been climbing ever since.
The IHSAA (Idaho High School Activities Association) suggests an AQI of below 150 as a guideline for athletic directors to follow when it comes to sporting events. The IHSAA also recommends AD's to use this link AirNow when tracking Air Quality as well.
Just a reminder that JH Volleyball practice will start tomorrow (9/3). This is for grades 6th - 8th. Practices will be from 4 pm - 6 pm and will be held in the back gym at CVHS. Student athletes will have to have all of their paperwork in and the sports fee paid as well before you are able to practice. If you need help with the sports fee, you can make arrangements with Mr. Martinez (HS Principal) and fill out a scholarship form. There is paperwork at both the HS & JH offices. You can also email me at hutchensa@sd244.org if you have any questions.
I hope that everyone is doing well so far today! We have several teams that are in action today!

Landon had a batting average (.427), on-base percentage (.574), slugging percentage (.572) and RBI's (22). Carson was selected as an outfielder.
