Ms. Devon's class can power the classroom with their Read and Ride bike! The bikes were purchased through a grant that was written to the Idaho STEM AC and Idaho STEM EcosySTEM!The bike has a generator on the rear hub. The energy that is created goes through the inverter that is plugged into the school’s power grid. There is also a watt meter that shows the class how much electrical energy they're creating as they peddle the bike.
