A group of 21 seventh and eighth graders were chosen to participate in the CORE leadership training, because they have demonstrated attributes of becoming leaders. The students participated in team building activities and set a vision for our school. As leaders, they will focus on creating respect between teachers and students, discovering opportunities to help our students thrive, as well as help students find their purpose at GEMS. It was an amazing day!
