Good morning everyone! I hope that everyone had a good weekend!
I just wanted to start off by saying that I appreciate everyone that supported the HS Football Team this year. Whether you were a parent, family of a person on the team or just a fan, I thank you. Even though it ended not the way we wanted it to, this team accomplished a lot this year and some things that have not been done in quite awhile.
The football team finished the year with a 7-3 Overall record and a 6-1 League record. With this, they were the #2 Seed from the North. This is the first time that a CV team has finished second since the 1999 Season. The 99' team actually was in a 3 way tie for second and lost out in a Kansas City TieBreaker and did not make it to state (they only took 2 teams back then in the Central Idaho League).
The group of Seniors that will be graduating this year and will be sorely missed; Anthony Carter, Anthony Fabbi, Austin Curtis, Keegan Robeson, Isaac Goodwin and David Whiteman have been a part of 22 wins here at CV football, made it to state all 4 years (this is the 5th year in a row CV has made it to state in football) and have helped lay down a foundation of dedication and winning for all the younger players to follow. I could not be more proud of a group of young men. It is an honor to have coached each and every player on this team. Go Rams!
On Thursday November 3rd there will be a Movie Night in the CVHS Gym.

Also on Thursday November 3rd is the HS Senior Volleyball Showcase at Lapwai HS at 7 pm. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Congratulations on our own Camille Stewart for making the selection! We will be cheering you on! Go Rams!

If you plan on coming to the USA Wrestling Tournament tomorrow morning at 9am, you will have to park in front of the HS (East parking lot) or over at the JH. The South parking lot will be blocked off. Good luck to all of our young wrestlers that will be participating in this tomorrow starting at 9 am!
We are having a Veteran's Day Assembly in the CVHS Gym at 11 am on Thursday November 10th. If you have photos of Veterans or active duty community members with a description of their service and deployments, please email them to Vincent Martinez at martinezv@sd244.org Mr. Martinez will be making a slideshow for the assembly.

The JH And HS Football games at Troy tomorrow will both be broadcasted on the NFHS Network. The JH game will start at 4:30 pm and the HS game will start at 7:30 pm.

The Winter Sports Meeting will still be held tomorrow evening, but will be pushed back a half an hour to 7 pm instead of 6:30 pm. The Sports Meeting will also take place in the CVHS Main Gym now instead of the Library. This is for HS Boys and Girls Basketball, HS Wrestling, JH Wrestling and JH Boys Basketball. Thank you
